    Poor baby hiccupotami! Clearly Bill’s daughters: they start out smiling but quickly lose their enthusiasm for being photographed.

    When I was a child my mother said I always got hiccups when I was cold. Did this happen after the cold front came through today?

    Mary says that newborns get hiccups because myelination of the phrenic nerve isn’t complete when they’re born.

    That said, these hiccups came upon full bellies right after the afternoon meal.
